Sean Rees has built a reputation among judges and fellow attorneys for thorough preparation, knowledge of the law, and tireless advocacy. He practices primarily in criminal defense and family law, including adoptions, guardianships, divorces, and custody disputes.
Sean has tried multiple cases to verdict. In one, he secured a not-guilty verdict for a client charged with pulling a gun on police officers who had responded to his home. In another, his client was found not guilty of the DUI offense with which he had been charged. Sean is not afraid to try a case, and prosecutors and judges know it. That reputation is often what makes favorable outcomes possible short of trial, whether through deferred prosecution, diversion, or pleas to lesser offenses.
Sean is active in the community, serving on multiple boards and civic organizations. He and his wife have three children, and he can often be found at their events as a coach or a spectator.
